Staff Wellbeing

This interactive session exploring the topic of wellbeing would be ideal to use as part of a team development day. It uses mind mapping, discussion, a personal wellbeing audit, and (optional) sensory activities to engage learners.  In 20 slides it covers:

  • What is Wellbeing?
  • Why does it matter?
  • Who is responsible
  • What employers can do
  • What individuals can do
  • Supporting one another – team wellbeing

…BECAUSE OF WHAT WE DO AND HOW WE DO IT, PEOPLE WANT TO WORK HERE. THERE’S A REAL ENERGY, THERE’S A REAL KIND OF SENSE OF VALUE IN BEING PART OF THE ORGANISATION.”

training guides/handouts

M8 Wellbeing Audit   This handout offers a choice of two personal reflection activities (see slide 13) – print one double sided copy for each participant, in colour if possible.

For the activity at slide 6, you may wish to provide some sensory items for each group to prompt thinking about wellbeing. This is optional and you will need to think about what is appropriate for your group. Some suggestions include: stress balls, tangle toys, play dough, slime, hand cream, colouring books and pens/pencils, plants or fresh flowers, fruit, water or chocolate.
